Port of Salalah
Port of Salalah has been operational since 20 years and has become one of the most important container and cargo terminals in the region, and the largest port in Oman. The port is partly owned and managed by APM Terminals, a world renowned container terminal operator. Strategically located at the major East-West Shipping Lane, the Port of Salalah is viewed as the region's best located port in order to access the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and East Africa.

Port of Salalah is made up of three main areas: the Container Terminal, which has a maximum depth of 18m and is capable of accommodating large vessels, receiving clients such as Maersk and MSC. The General Cargo Terminal, which is a multipurpose cargo terminal accepting tourist cruise lines and navy vessels, as well as handling livestock and recently sustained the world’s largest gypsum and limestone title in 2018. The liquid Jetty, which has a state of the art infrastructure offering bunkering services, as well as handling petroleum and chemical products.
