Nadia Abdul Aziz

President NAFL

A native of Dubai, Nadia Abdul Aziz was introduced to logistics by working in the family business – DULSCO – UAE’s oldest, and one of the largest, manpower supply companies to the shipping/logistics industry in the Gulf region. As a marketing, freight and logistics professional, she is still active in the industry and enjoys working on various labour issues to ensure standards are maintained. Abdul Aziz was elected to the National Association of Freight and Logistics eight years ago as an executive board member. She served a four-year term as secretary general and is currently in the second year of her term as NAFL president.

The National Association of Freight and Logistics (NAFL) was founded in Dubai in 1992 to bring together the increasing number of freight and logistics service providers in the UAE. Shortly after its establishment, NAFL became the first and only national association from an Arabian Gulf country to join the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA). From a total of 24 members at its inception, NAFL has grown more than ten-fold with a current roster of 350 members.
