Finn Roden has spent his career in operations and sales management within the ocean carrier and stevedore/terminal segments. In his current role, he is responsible for driving all commercial activities for Höegh within the Middle East Area including the Horn of Africa and Pakistan. Roden joined Höegh Autoliners in October, 2014 as Head of Sales – North America before relocating to the Middle East in January, 2016. Prior to coming ashore, he sailed in various deck capacities onboard a variety of vessels; including ro-ro, OSV, and Navy Research.  He is a graduate of the California Maritime Academy – California State University with a degree in marine transportation.               

Höegh Autoliners is a leading global provider of Ro/Ro transportation services. The company operates around 55 PCTC (Pure Car and Truck Carriers) vessels in global trade systems, making around 3,000 port calls yearly. With a fleet designed for maximum flexibility, Höegh is able to cater to a wide variety of cargo, ranging from cars to high and heavy and breakbulk. Its New Horizon vessels are the world’s largest PCTCs, carrying up to 8,500 car equivalent units, offering 6.5 metres of free deck height, 12 metres ramp width and capacity to take cargo weighting up to 375 tonnes.
