Matteo Pollara is Logistics Director with Petrofac Emirates. He began his logistics career as a technical advisor for Interprogetti Genoa, then moved on to a short stint at Stargas. He next worked at Agip, where he served as consultant, naval engineer, and head of technical services before being named head of supply chain management. He accepted a position with Petrofac as Project Logistics Director and was named Logistics Director in 2013. 
 
Petrofac Emirates is the first United Arab Emirates (UAE) joint venture company to provide a full range of engineering, design, procurement and construction services for major onshore oil & gas, refining and petrochemical projects. Petrofac Emirates is continuously developing its world-class engineering centre in Abu Dhabi.
