NYK Bulk & Projects, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK), Japan’s largest shipping company, is one of the leading ocean carriers of bulk and heavy/project cargo. We currently operate approximately 150 vessels, including fleets of multi-purpose (MPP) carriers, Handy/Handymax bulkers, Heavy lifters(800mt-geared by tandem) and Deck Carriers. Our monthly semi-liner service between Asia and India/Persian Gulf have abt 4 sailings monthly. At present, 14,000 DWT to 30,000 DWT MPP vessels and heavy lifters are deployed along this shipping route. We transport a large variety of cargo such as steel products, and heavy machineries etc to India/PG , and project cargoes and dry bulk on the return trip to Asia.
