In a predominantly male-dominated industry, women are steadily making their mark. To encourage further inclusion, Breakbulk Middle East has once again teamed up with our official women empowerment partner, WISTA Arabia in addition to a new supporting partner Arab Women in Maritime Association (AWIMA) for the Women in Breakbulk Breakfast session that took place on Wednesday, 26 February 2020 on the Main Stage.
We gathered women from different sectors to share their perspectives on building a successful career in the project cargo and breakbulk industry. These key female figures in leadership positions offered insightful tips and advice for women from all corners of the industry on how they too can climb the ranks and change the narrative on an industry that is progressing in the right direction.
We invite you to become a part of this group, whether new to the industry, an industry veteran or anywhere in between.
Become an official member of Women in Breakbulk and you will be added to the Women in Breakbulk page. Once you have registered for the breakfast, send your photo, company logo and a brief statement on the importance of women in the industry or advice to female colleagues. This is a great way to show your company's support for women in the industry.
We look forward to receiving your information and supporting your journey as a woman in breakbulk.
