1. What were your objectives for Breakbulk ME 2024, and did you meet them?
Our main goals for Breakbulk ME 2024 were to increase DHL Industrial Projects' brand visibility in the region, network with key industry players, and explore potential partnerships to support our growth strategy across the Middle East and Africa. The region provides tremendous growth and development opportunities across different sectors – whether it is the new energy sector, such as solar plants in the Middle East, or the mining sector on the African continent, and many more. There is almost no region in the world that has as much potential from a project logistics perspective.
Indeed, Breakbulk ME 2024 turned out to be a success for us. We connected with key stakeholders, gathered valuable insights, and strengthened our presence in the region. The event provided us with excellent opportunities to network, showcase our capabilities, and gain market intelligence. Additionally, it is a great platform to learn about the latest trends in the breakbulk and project cargo markets.
2. Can you tell us about a valuable connection or partnership that came out of Breakbulk ME 2024?
We had productive discussions with customers, subcontractors, and other logistics providers specializing in project cargo. These conversations focused on the challenges and opportunities in the MEA region, as well as potential joint ventures for upcoming large-scale projects in the region. This partnership has greatly enhanced our service offerings and expanded our capabilities.
