Digitalisation Roadmap: Industry Collaboration for Collective Success

Wednesday, 10 February • 18:00 GST

The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly acted as a catalyst for the breakbulk sector in bringing technology and digitalisation to the top of many companies agendas, however, there is a worry that when it passes, it will once more slip down the list. It is more clear than ever that embedding digital end-to-end processes is vital for a company to remain competitive in today’s market and those who do not embrace this will be left behind. Yet, what areas to prioritise and which investments will provide the greatest return is one that is difficult to define. This session will bring together executives from across the supply chain to talk about why it took a global pandemic to wake up our industry to the benefits of digitalisation and how collaboration will be the key to unlocking its potential. Attendees will provide examples of best practice uses and ultimately come together to define what needs to be done to ensure the industry as a whole is prepared for the next 10 years.
