In April 2022, Chris took the reins of RAK Gas as CEO. Under his leadership, RAK Gas has spearheaded initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable and diverse energy solutions for Ras Al Khaimah and parts of East Africa.
Beyond the confines of RAK Gas, Chris holds the role of Chief Executive of the RAK Petroleum Authority, ensuring the longevity of Ras Al Khaimah’s petroleum sector through strategic oversight and regulatory standards.
Featuring a track record of global excellence, with over 20 years of experience, he has successfully turned around Uniper’s Middle East operations, strengthened PetroChina International’s footprint in London, and undertaken influential roles in INEOS, P&O, Orica, Rio Tinto, and CS Energy.
Having worked in Switzerland, the UK, South Africa, and Australia, Chris brings the value of a global perspective to RAK Gas.
Not only is Chris accomplished in his professional life, but he is also an avid marathon runner, embodying resilience, and discipline. As a father of three, his commitment to leading RAK Gas is not just for today, but for the future of the next generation.
Chris holds a Master of Business and Technology from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
