Hugh Cox serves as Chief Commercial Officer for RAK Ports, leading the Group’s commercial strategy and international growth initiatives.
Formerly Head of Commercial at DP World, Hugh led global expansion and supply chain initiatives in emerging markets. With over a decade of experience in ports, heavy industry, and logistics, Hugh now focuses on strengthening Africa-Gulf trade corridors via SAQR Port. His strategy includes handling diverse cargo, liquid bulk, dry bulk, and agricultural commodities, while unlocking new import/export channels to deliver cost advantages.
His leadership is instrumental in shaping RAK Ports next phase of growth through SAQR 2.0 and the wider free zone ecosystem.
