ADSO was established in 1968 in Abu Dhabi as Abu Dhabi Services Office (ADSO) and has since evolved into a leading freight forwarding and logistics company in the region. The company specializes in land, sea, air, and rail freight, and operates a bonded facility for customs clearance. ADSO owns a fleet of over 150 trucks, with 80% of its trailers TIR certified. In addition, ADSO is engaged in general contracting and marine transport services. Today, ADSO has expanded its presence with 16 offices across key locations including Jeddah, Oman, and Al Ghuwaifyat (U.A.E. border), as well as established offices in Dubai, Mezyad, Jebel Ali, and Hamriyah Free Zone. The company also maintains associated offices and agents throughout the GCC and the wider Middle East region.
ADSO utilizes Dubai as its strength by making it a transit point for transshipment cargoes going into neighboring countries Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt and others.
