Mr. Akshay Anand, a Canadian National of Indian Origin is the Group General Manager and                         Member of The Board of Directors of the ABSA Al Barrak Group, a global leader in shipping, freight forwarding and logistics.

With its Head Office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, the Group has offices in the UAE, India, Iraq and Singapore and has more than three decades of unrivalled maritime, commercial and navigational experience. He holds a Certified Public Accountant qualification from the USA and a Masters of Business Administration from Imperial College London.

He is passionate about his work, enjoys adventure sports, travel and a very keen interest in History, Art and Culture. Mr. Anand is based between the UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
