Red Sea Gateway Terminal

Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) is Saudi Arabia’s first privately funded terminal operator (BOT), headquartered in Jeddah. RSGT operates the country’s largest and most advanced container terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port, accounting for approximately 39% of Saudi Arabia’s container throughput in 2024 and offering 6.2 million TEU of annual capacity.

To serve a broader range of customers and cargo types, RSGT offers Multipurpose Terminals (MPT) services through a dedicated business unit that manages non-containerized cargo across four strategic locations on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. The portfolio spans Jeddah Islamic Port (Integrating Ro-Ro, general cargo, bulk, and livestock into a single multi-purpose facility), King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu, Yanbu Commercial Port, and Port of Jazan, adding roughly 13.4 km of quay and 3.3 million m² of operational area. Across these sites, RSGT handles Ro-Ro, project/heavy-lift cargo, general cargo, dry bulk, liquid bulk, and livestock. 
Across container and multi-purpose operations, RSGT focuses on reliable performance, safety, and sustainability, leveraging digital yard management, smart gate processing, and data-driven asset reliability, with a roadmap that includes electric handling equipment and shore-power readiness where feasible.
