Head of Ground & Rail – East Africa CEVA Logistics

Udit has been working in Africa since 2007 where he has managed logistics behind critical infrastructure projects in highly challenging and remote environments. 
Currently, Udit is heading ground and rail operations in East Africa for CEVA Logistics. Udit has successfully spearheaded strategies that have paved the way for successful delivery of mega size cargo for hydro-power projects, transmission lines, road construction, renewable energy projects and many others in Africa. Udit has full understanding of complexities behind delivering time sensitive and critical out-of-gauge cargo; in his 25+ years of career he has gained an in-depth understanding of how to deal with duty-exempt cargo on case-by-case basis. Further to the above, Udit’s in-depth knowledge of local Africa roads, procedures and equipment availability have played a key role in Udit’s involvement with institutionalized stakeholders, such as ports and roads authorities in defining a way forwarded for the overall logistics strategy.
