A senior executive with varied experience in law and general management over two decades in the energy, transport and technology space, David has been leading teams since his first C-level role in 2014.

His legal experience spans private practice in both London and Dubai (most recently as a partner in an international lawfirm) as well as in-house roles in the UAE and Saudi Arabia (as GC of a Saudi Aramco subsidiary joint venture).

David has worked on corporate and commercial matters (sale and purchase of assets, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and international partnerships) as well as finance matters (financing businesses, asset acquisitions, tech startup fundraising, setting up hedge funds and obtaining regulatory approvals around the world). David has built corporate governance programmes and policies and helped entities navigate the sanctions minefields successfully both at local (bank and regulatory authority) and international level. He is comfortable across all facets of growing businesses having worked for, and advised the entire spectrum of business from startups to fast growth multi-billion dollar multi-nationals entering new markets or pursuing new verticals. 

David has spent over two years acting as fractional CXO across a number of businesses in different industries. David most recently has experience in setting up fledgling commodities firms from scratch both as co-founder and as an outside consultant. His latest venture, Two Falcons Consulting offers Fractional CXO Services to companies across the energy, commodities and maritime value chains.

Hydrogen, carbon capture and gasification projects will all be considered. Panelists will also cover investments from the U.S. Export-Import Bank into clean energy projects in the Middle East, and the mutual commitment to deepening the relationship between the two regions.
